My FOREVER Story: Show Someone You Love Them!

By Sheri Meissner

Every day, we have access to a very powerful tool that can improve our relationship with our family, increase confidence in our children & build self-esteem.  It’s the camera in our phone.

No matter if the photograph is on the wall, on your refrigerator or in a book, it tells that person, “YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO ME!”  What a message this is that we can give others so easily.

Remembering my Grandfather: Tagging Memories

By Abby Schreiber

It’s not how I wanted to remember him - I remembered him as a listener, a laugher. But something compelled me to keep taking the photos. “This could be the last time, remember it,” the voice in my head would nudge. As time went on, though, my grandpa kept surviving. He’s break a hip, and we’d think, “This is it.” It, however, kept prolonging. And the photos kept adding up.

From the Page to the Print Shop

By Abby Schreiber

There is so much to be said for scrapbooking: it’s creative, it’s tangible, and most of all, it puts all our memories in one place -- a walk down memory lane, if you will. But physical scrapbooks only go so far; as beautiful as they may be, they are fragile. There is often only one copy, which doesn’t do much for sharing your memories OR preserving them.

My FOREVER Story: World's Greatest Uncle

By Arlene Watkins

In 2015, we lost our son to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after a 5-year battle. While this loss was devastating to all of us, it was especially hard for his niece – my granddaughter. They were extremely close and shared a special bond.

I asked my granddaughter what she wanted for Christmas. Her reply? She said she wanted more time with her Uncle James. Since that was not something I could give her, I decided to make a special scrapbook for her.

Make a Memory, Make a Book

By Abby Schreiber

I can still picture the look on my mom’s face as she opened the first page. Staring back at her was her father’s handwriting, as though he’d signed it himself, his named sprawled across the page in cursive.

FOREVER vs. Legacybox: Who do YOU Trust?

By Glen Meakem

Last week, the television show, Inside Edition, ran an investigative report demonstrating that our competitor, Legacybox, has lost or mishandled old media like films and videos sent to them by their customers for digital conversion. Our mission at FOREVER is to help people to save, organize and share their precious memories now and for many generations into the future.  Family memories – photos, films, videos and documents – are truly precious.

How To: Create a Dream Board

By Alaina Duffy

We all need direction, and that doesn’t appear out of thin air. Without goals, we’re directionless. The first step in knowing where you are is to imagine where you want to go. Dream boards are an exciting, tangible way to bring your goals to life.
