About 2 years ago, all of my parents' photos from their whole lives ended up at my doorstep. They had been passed around to several of my brothers and sisters after the passing of my mom and dad and finally ended up with me. I had discovered FOREVER several years earlier and felt an unexplained sense of urgency to get my photos and my parents' photos in a FOREVER Storage® Account. I wanted to organize an album for each of my 4 sons, me and my 10 brothers and sisters, and my mom and dad. I spent about a year getting everything scanned and organized.
Last August, my youngest son died very unexpectedly at the young age of 30. He was a type 1 diabetic and had a low blood sugar episode when there was no one there to help him. The fact that all of the photos of his life were already in one place made that crazy, extremely stressful week - when I was grieving and in shock, planning his funeral, and putting a slide show of his life together for the funeral - much easier. Now, I am compiling a book of his life story in FOREVER Artisan®. Again, this is much easier because all the photos that his Dad, his grandparents, and I had ever taken of him are all in one place, permanently preserved and accessible to the whole family.
Thank you to the folks who created FOREVER.com. Thanks to you, my son Chris will never be forgotten.
