Scrapbooking Changed My Life!
Years ago, our grandson was abducted. It was a dark period in our lives, but thank God all ended well. During that time, one of my friends asked me if I would like to attend a scrapbook event.
I went to the event shortly after our grandson was returned to our family and and brought several photos of him with me. After a memory-filled night of placing his photos on pages, the “teacher” asked us to tell a story about the pages we had created. I turned to my friend with a “deer in the headlights” look. She gently said, “It’s o.k. Bonny. Everyone here is your friend.” I briefly told the group about what had happened and the photos I had so lovingly placed on the pages. Everyone there was so receptive and warm to me.
Fourteen years later, my wonderful FOREVER Ambassador is still helping me create pages. She is a knowledgeable, wonderful, supportive woman to many others as well. I’m so thrilled each time I use my photos to make another page to add to my FOREVER digital photo books. Without the help of Cheryl Mahar (pictured with me in the photo above), I would never have made so many keepsake books. I would never had met so many like-minded and supportive friends. I would never have documented so many wonderful memories.
Thank you, Cheryl, and thank you, FOREVER, for all the happiness you have given to me for so many years. As a side note, at 75 years old, I am challenged to learn new and exciting techniques and keep the grey matter active!
Thank goodness for each new day. I wish everyone all the best in this one!
