My FOREVER Story: Going the Extra Mile

I have used FOREVER Media Conversion Services for the last 4 years and so have many of my clients. I have not been shy to tell my clients it is the only company you should trust with converting your media - the white glove service and extra care taken with each customer’s media is invaluable. The team treats your memories as if they are their own. I’ve heard many stories over the years of how FOREVER Media Conversion has gone the extra mile. And now, I have my own story. 

My client, Melanie, sent in her conversion box at the end of September. It arrived, along with hundreds of other boxes, on the first of October. Several days later, Melanie’s brother passed away. She called me on a Tuesday to ask when the photos would be in her FOREVER Account because included in that box were photos of her brother, and they needed them to include in his funeral slide show that following Saturday. Knowing Conversion Services was swamped, I was honest and said I didn't know if it would be possible. That gave Conversion Services only 3 days to get them scanned into her account. But we contacted FOREVER Support to see if there was any possible way to get them scanned and in her account by Friday. 

To add to the difficulty, Melanie had not labeled the bags of photos with any kind of title other than the numbers. And still, with the limited information we gave Conversion Services to locate her brother's photos, one of the Conversion Team Members, Derek Loreti, uploaded them on Thursday. She was very excited when I told her they were in her account. But the craziness didn’t stop there.

After looking at the photos, she realized she had given Derek the wrong information - the photos he’d uploaded were of her other brother. So again Derek combed through her photos, looking for the correct ones, and loaded them into her account just the next day.

“I will have the perfect photos to tell my brother’s story!”

When I verified with Melanie those were the correct photos, she said, “Yes - I will have the perfect photos to tell my brother’s story!” She was so relieved and happy! She said, "It really meant a lot for Derek to do that. It made me feel like they really cared to take the time to go through all those photos and find the ones that I needed.” 

After the funeral Melanie told me, “I was able to make a video of my brother’s life story. I got so many compliments on the video, and people loved the pictures.”  

Melanie works full-time, so it was a busy, stressful week working and planning her brother’s funeral. She said to me, “It meant the world to my mom and I, and we really appreciate the prompt response as well as your help. I would not have been able to do it without you! It makes me feel good being a part of a such a good company.” 

So, THANK YOU Derek Loreti and anyone else involved in helping make this possible! No big box store would have gone above and beyond to provide this kind of personal service. But our FOREVER Team does because they care about us, our clients and our memories!
